We believe that through artists we have a refreshing and entertaining path to healing. Musicians especially have a gift to communicate emotionally, direct to the heart, important information in an entertaining and moving way. Talented authors, filmmakers, and musicians share their journeys of successfully navigating cult mind control.

Intentions

Through these three forms of art, we demonstrate real life, humanizing examples of individuals who are healing and have built an inspiring modern life, showing what’s possible. The intention is to add a valuable work-of-art in the decades-long resistance movement, to expose the long lasting traumatic effects of one of the most dangerous aspects of this group, shunning - complete family and community isolation. Our film demonstrates their extreme shunning practice while also offering a path to a healthy life after.
